The core of Strong Foundations is the belief in hiring high quality educators with extensive classroom experience. Our teachers are state certified to teach elementary school.
Mrs. Neal
Owner/Teacher
Mrs. Neal has a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. She has spent the past 19 years teaching Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade. She is a state-certified Reading Specialist and also holds an Arizona Early Childhood Teaching Certificate and ESL endorsement.
Mrs. Kucenski
PreK Teacher
Heather Kucenski began her teaching career five years ago teaching English online. The last few years Mrs. Kucenski taught PreK and gained her Elementary teaching certification. Prior to joining the Strong Foundations team, she was a substitute teacher in the Chandler district.
Mrs. Lesko
Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Lesko has a Masters Degree in Special Education with a dual certification in General Education from Arizona State University. She has 6 years teaching experience that includes high school and elementary school special education, and preschool. Prior to teaching she worked as a board-certified music therapist working with children with special needs.
Mrs. Rathjen
Preschool Teacher
Victoria Rathjen is a licensed educator with more than 15 years of experience teaching in both the classroom and online. As a native of Columbia, South Carolina, Victoria obtained her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Clemson University (Go Tigers!). She then made the trek out west to Arizona where she taught first grade in Phoenix’s Cartwright School District for five years. Concurrently, Victoria attended Arizona State University where she obtained her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: ESL (English as a second language). She also holds an Arizona Early Childhood Teaching Certificate and ESL endorsement.
Mrs. Pal
Preschool Teacher Assistant
Mrs. Pal has a Masters Degree from the University of Pune in Geoinformatics. After pursuing a career in corporate world for more than five years she has decided to become an assistant teacher. She is an accommodating and versatile individual who is ready to help young minds develop and achieve their best capabilities and inspire them to be successful.
